On Saturday we visited an archaeological park. This area was a wintering ground for Native Americans. We enjoyed the breathtaking desert views and the unique petroglyphs of Native Americans, some of which were 12.000 years old! The boys enjoyed jumping off rocks and running along the hillside trails. It was a bit chilly but it was great to breathe in fresh air.
As we were leaving I was overcome with joy. The magnificent man-made structures amongst God's awe-inspiring nature, together left me speechless. My heart was full of gratitude for this world that we live in. It was truly a great experience.
